The Kindness Kit

That's a tough question.  To every person I've asked, I've received a different answer.  Each answer was unique and insightful.  Kindness has been seen as an act, as a display of manners and being nice, as a gesture between strangers, and as something done with forethought in anticipation of the reward of simply doing something nice.

What does kindness look like to you?  Perhaps you've seen an act of kindness and, while acknowledging it to yourself, never spoke of it.  You knew it was a kindness and perhaps it made enough of an impression on you that you repeated the gesture to someone else.  Perhaps they passed that same kindness on again.

In thinking of kindnesses and what they have looked like to me, I have begun to want to let those around me know that what they have done or are doing is not going unnoticed.  Initially my thought was to simply tell them thank you.  Then I wanted others to see that a kindness had been done and I created stickers I gave to students and peers when I noticed something kind being done.
